A hidden gem this one, better heard than watched IMO. A funny podcast all about the best and worst Reddit posts. Particular favourites include ‘Am I the Asshole’ stories. They read, they discuss, they decide, you decide and if you’re lucky, there’s a story update. Is there a UK version? I’d love to know.

⭐ 𝐀 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧 – 𝐂𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐬
I love the beautiful awkwardness of Jesse Eisenberg. Director, writer, actor and Simon Amstell lookalike – he’s amazing. Culkin (my favourite Culkin, outside of Christmas) is the guy you most want to hang out with and escape all in one scene. They are great together. I wanted it to be a series though. It’s a sweet watch. (Sidenote: nobody puts baby in the corner.)

His bio is spot on. ‘Ten Second Songs. Motivational Metal. Cute Aggression’. He reads out fan comments via the spirit of death metal. He’s been around for ages and it’s working for him.

Lovely storytelling podcast, with voice over from Bolton’s Maxine Peake. As a lover of music and Joy Division this was a welcomed find. Also on YouTube.

Podcasts really are having their day in the sun. Audio / Visual / long form / social cut downs which are interesting and promote at the same time. Ahh content distribution gold. All you need is a handsome, well-known host like Paul C Brunson (from MAFS of course) and some open and honest guests; what you mean like Pink PVC trousers, hip wiggling Pete Wicks? Put it on the boil for 1hr 50 minutes and voila – you have an algorithm loving, content feast. Yummy.

Funny Irish bearded guy comments on the craziness of the internet. From AI fried eggs turning into birds to glitter gravy. He’s gonna tell you what he really thinks, to be sure.
